Called to Brazil in 2014 to manage the design and art of the Rosewood-Matarazzo project in São Paulo, Delphine Araxi was immersed in Brazil’s cultural diversity.
This inspiring project opened doors for her on the Brazilian art scene.
After more than 12 years working on luxury hotel projects alongside renowned decorators, Delphine Araxi, an Armenian-French designer and artist living between São Paulo and Paris, founded her own ARAXI studio in 2016.
Passionate about creation, she imagines a creative studio blending architecture, design and art with no limits, no boundaries in the fields of creativity.
The origin of the studio’s name comes from her Armenian middle name, Araxi.
Araxi is an important river in Armenia.
Marking the Persian border, it crosses countries and brings people together around a common good.
Water has no limits, no beginning and no end; it crosses lands, enriches cultures, confronts and unites peoples.
ARAXI’s signature is inspired by this fluidity and permeability.
The studio sees creativity as an encounter, a fusion and a confusion of creative professions.

Although much of her creative work is design-oriented, she has long conceived it as interactive sculpture.

Interior design is to space design what dance is to the body.
