Carpe Diem: Chandelier

A year ago, a fascinating story began when I embarked on a journey to a small town in the interior of São Paulo. My destiny was to find Henri, the artist behind the incredible chandelier factory, Henrilustres, with the clear aim of bringing my dream, the extraordinary and majestic “CARPE DIEM” chandelier, to life.

Our minds are drawn to the sensational, to the extraordinary, while the process of life requires us to become more and more aware. When I work and create, I release the energies of love and harmony that flow through my thoughts, emotions, sensations and ideas. The chandelier followed this process of liberation. Placed at the entrance to the hall, it was designed to inspire all who enter to release solar and positive energies, enriching both their professional and personal lives. I wanted to use effective techniques to release energies and soothe negative feelings, going beyond simple chandelier decoration. But I also wanted to give meaning to this design-art, with properties that amplify energies and purify the chakras, enabling a process of energetic balance.

So I developed this chandelier with a smooth, semi-metallic brass base in the shape of a rock crystal to give it the 3D dimension and relief of pure rock crystal. On either side, I added random crystals to diffuse this energy into the souls of those who enter. I wanted to create an experience that acts on the body, helping to energize individuals and the environment to promote well-being and heal problems related to emotional, physical, mental and energetic fields. This masterful work has a captivating story that began with its own creation.

CARPE DIEM is an art piece meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans at the Henrilustres factory. Each carefully selected and cut rock crystal stone emits a unique, dazzling light. Its solid internal steel structure supports its imposing 150 kilograms with grace. Assembling the chandelier was an arduous task, but Henri spared no effort to ensure that each crystal found its perfect place, capturing the light in a truly magical way.
