My work features suspended boarding passes, each symbolizing departures, destinations or memories.
I wanted to transform the VIP lounge into a space for reflection on the stories, testimonies or sound works of anonymous travellers. This emphasizes the idea that each passenger brings with them a unique narrative, a story to be told.
With the juxtaposition of boarding passes, the installation questions the notion of the act of travel and invites visitors to reflect on their own journeys. “Passages” redefines the airport as a space for meeting and celebrating the human narratives that intersect with each flight.
